Come and join our Etna Trekking tour, to discover the Wonders of Etna! With full support of our trained guide, you will be able to experience the adventure of discovering a path which will lead you from 1.850 mt to the southern edge (2.050 mt) of the Valle del Bove, one of the most amazing place to admire on Etna.
This valley is a huge caldera, 8,5 km long and 5 km wide, which offers a breathtaking view over it. Notably you will there admire the dykes, magmatic intrusion of past lateral eruptions whose appearance is just magnificent.
After the excursion, your experience will include furthermore the visit of one lava flow cave, a real amazing channel (or tube) wherein the lava flowed hot and fluid, one of the terrific means which the Volcano uses to let the lava flowing as far as possible. The size of the cave makes possible almost all the way to walk upright (with torches and helmets provided by us).

8/8:30 AM - Pickup
Departure from a meeting point near your accomodation with Tourist Sicily shuttle
09:30 AM - Volcano Etna
Trekking on mount to valley called Valle del Bove
12:00 AM - Visit Lava caves
Visit of a lava flow cave with flashlights and helmets provided
14:00 PM - Traditional lunch
Lunch pause with sicilian products and analcoholic drink
15:30 PM - Return in Catania
The tour will end at the initial meeting place.

Of course not! Our tours are all-inclusive. You don’t have to pay anything else if the tour doesn’t include it.
Recommended clothing varies according to season:
–> November to March
We recommend a winter jacket, long trousers, a woollen hat and sturdy waterproof shoes.
–> April to May
The weather and temperatures are very variable, so we suggest winter clothing in layers, sneakers.
–> June to September
The weather and temperatures are pleasant, we suggest a t-shirt, trousers or shorts, trainers. (in any case, always bring a light jacket or K-way in case of passing storms).
–> October
The weather and temperatures are very variable, so we suggest winter clothing in layers, sneakers.
You can cancel your booking by e-mail or directly on WhatApp
In the event of a storm you will be contacted to cancel or reschedule the tour. In case of cancellation or impossibility to reschedule, we will provide a refund (if pre-paid).
The itineraries are the same. Etna Morning Tour takes place in the morning and includes a typical Sicilian lunch. Etna Sunset Tour takes place in the afternoon and includes a reinforced aperitif at sunset.
We have room for 6 to 8 people in our vehicles. The number of persons may vary according to Covid-19 restrictions.
Certainly! You can rent hiking boots (5 euros), windbreakers (5 euros) and more. If you are interested, you must indicate this on the check out page when you make your booking.
